The Dalmatian islands off the coast of Croatia provide one of the most exciting sailing holiday experiences in the Adriatic Sea. They have a wealth of historical and cultural sites, summer entertainment and typical restaurants where you can enjoy dinner in the picturesque seaside towns.

Start your yacht charter from Split or Trogir on the central Adriatic coast of Croatia and set sail for the islands of Hvar, Brac, Solta and Vis. You may also choose to cruise along the Makarska Riviera and then continue your sailing cruise to the Pakleni islands.

· Hvar is known as the pearl of Dalmatia and offers some of the most attractive boating holidays in the Croatian islands.
· Brac Island is a Croatian holiday resort which is renowned for its stunning stretch of fine white pebble beach fringing shallow clear waters. Also called the Golden Cape, Zlatni Rat beach is located near the fishing village of Bol.
· Vis is a great holiday island resort off the central coast of Croatia which you can visit by yacht. You can then cruise further south to reach Budikovac, a tiny island where you can swim in a turquoise lagoon.
· Bisevo is a popular yachting destination. It is a famous Croatian island for its beautiful Blue Cave that you can explore by dinghy boat.

The fortified city of Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic, is a well-known historic seaside holiday resort in the south of Croatia. You'll cruise around beautiful Croatian islands including Cavtat, Korcula, Lastovo, Mljet, the Elafiti Islands, as well as Montenegro.

Other interesting opportunities to sail off the northern coast of Croatia include the Zadar Archipelago comprising the islands of Pag, Vir, Molat and Dugi Otok and the Kornati Archipelago with hundreds of mostly uninhabited Croatian islands.

You can choose to head for the Sibenik Archipelago and visit the Krka National Park with its beautiful waterfalls and numerous holiday attractions near the small village of Skradin. Kaprije is a Croatian Island not far from Sibenik.

These Croatian areas are ideal for yacht cruising.
